I want to speak but
The words won’t come out of my mouth
I want to scream but
I can’t find my voice.
Broken Inside, this weary soul of mine
Every bad deed I’ve done
Comes forth to haunt me now.
Don’t leave me darling
Not in this fragile state
I try to smile without you
But I am lost without your face.
This road is treacherous, dark
This heart is pounding, scared
To be alone, to live without your love
I can feel myself falling now
Nails dig into the walls of my defeat
Bleeding out to what I have lost myself to
Don’t leave me darling
Not in this fragile state
Yet I ask
Be patient with me, my love
Insanity is only for a while.
