If I were a tree, I know just what I'd do. I'd grow straight up against the wind to prove myself to you. I would plant my roots deep in the ground, and never let them budge. I would fight my battles through the dirt and even through the sludge. If i were a tree I would bloom the most precious flowers to remind you of me. I would bloom them all year long to prove my loyalty. I would grow bark of many colors to show that I can change. I would reach straight up to the sky, and shade you from it's rain. If i were a tree, I'd let you climb my branches way up tall. As you come down, they'll grab you to make sure you never fall. If I were a tree i would show you that age dosent mean a thing. I would keep my beauty through the years while gaining all my rings.
