"My mother told me I had a chameleon soul, no moral compass pointing due north, no fixed personality; just an inner indecisiveness that was as wide and as wavering as the ocean" -unknown

You're such a show-off
with your pretty little hair
and glowing eyes
waltzing around; doing whatever you please
the guys adore you
and the girls...
well, I wish I could say they fear you

but you're just so kind
so humorous, nice, funny
I almost hate you
because all I want
is for you to stay away from
him
from what I consider mine

but it's not like I have any right
any claim on him
he barely knows I exist
so I can't actually justify hating you
but I do
and I feel so guilty
but I just can't care
because you're touching him
and I just want to kill you sometimes

but then he walks right past me
not even a glance
and in my despair I swear to myself
she can have him; what do I care
but then you touch him
you hug him and smile
and the jealousy and anger is back again
along with the despair
