“The creative is the place where no one else has ever been. You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you’ll discover will be wonderful. What you’ll discover is yourself.” — Alan Alda

Winds of spring blowing by
Away, away drab cold of winter
Memorable warmth from ages past
Blowing life on winter trees
Waking petals to eternal light
Burning above day and night
Flowers dance and twirl to life
Gentle as the flowing wind
Wafting scents so sweet to all
Blushing pink of love to spring

The author's comments:
Looking at the Cherry Blossoms upon a tree, this poem came to my mind. I marveled at the wondrous rebirth that spring brings, and I noticed something. The cherry red of blooming blossoms are like the blush of young lovers cheeks. This blush, so full of affection and love, was interpreted by me as an expression of adoration from the trees to the spring, which takes away the cold chill of winter.
