Horses
My favorite animal stands tall and majestic
Huge eyes surrounded by luscious eyelashes
Thick, flowing mane
Soft fur so rich with color
How the sunlight hits them so perfectly
Shining beautifully while they graze
I stand, astounded, watching them;
Their elegance is unforgettable
Such a creature must be cherished
Held dearly and treated with respect
They don’t as for much
Only love and attention
I encourage their presence
For they hold a sixth sense
Which is said to cast out evil
Giving them an everlasting peace
