Spinning in circles the world never seems to stand still
What happened to the beauty of silence
Was it drown out by the pain
Or was the truth of silence to much for a world of lies to see the sign
Working its way through the light trying to find the right height to find those blinded by shadows and make them feel their way from the path from agony to the magic of the hope to be dancing in the rain
But they turn away only to be led astray following the wrong path blindly always believing they are right
That is what this place has come to be a world without peace and harmony
Where neighbors fear and children must always beware
If only they would close their eyes and just believe
Then just maybe they could see

The author's comments:
I wrote this while in D.C. while i watched the people there walk by i noticed that some had hope for the future and others had been broken down by rough lives, and as i sat there the words began to flow and this is what i ended up with.
