Looking up from the depths.

The Sky shimmers with wrinkles
the ground covered in a rainbow of colors,
then darkening the further down.
Flying around are beautiful creatures,
creating bubbles that dance all around.
As the sun sinks,
the sky becomes still.
the once flying creatures
evacuate to their
swaying home’s below
to hide from the floating shadows
that are exposed
when the moon’s glow
penetrates the sky above.
