Close your eyes
Breathe it in
As thoughts arise
A journey to begin

Mind and thoughts come to life
Bursting out from the ears
They battle the silence with great strife
For they haven't any fears

No bother in telling them to keep it down
For they won't settle until their out
Consuming me, taking me, I start to drown
At full control they scream and shout

Soon though the silence engulfs them
Caging them away
The maddening green stem
Has now begun to fray

In the still of the night
My thoughts are returned inside
I haven't a care or a fright
For they sleep with me by my bedside

What inspired me to write this? I'm not really sure, probable the silencing night, and my thoughts intertwining within it.
