summer rain

The rain on my fingers
sinks into my skin
Giving it refreshment
that it really needed.
The smell of water falling from the sky
Is as fresh as a babys skin when its first breaths are taken.
The summer rain is always my favorite,
And brings joy to me when its no longer sunny.
