Carrying the cross upon his back
But it was the sin he lacked
The sacrifice he was chosen to make
As he hung there from the cross and began to shake
But he wasn’t in pain
For the new life he would gain
Once his mortal form began to cry
He turned his head from side to side as he started to die
Wrapped in cloth from head to toe
He was placed in a tomb as people let go
A huge boulder to block the door,
But that want going to stop the Lord
Once they checked, but the tomb was no longer occupied,
The people were petrified
For no one had stolen the chosen one
But the angels had come
The angel told Mary, “You should not fret.
For the lard has risen him from the dead.”
And that is why eater is celebrated
All the eggs and houses decorated
We should all be thankful for what the Lord has done
Because he sent his one and only son
