As long as my trembling fingers touch the surface of an unknown adventure

As long as my distressed heart pumps enough strength to continue my Great Commission

As long as my indignant hands grip the throat of world hunger

As long as my hungry arms cradle the exhausted child

As long as my tired lungs breathe the air of a foreign country

As long as my life stirs a motion of change

As long as my whispered call echoes the story of Christ

Because it is then that my soul will be lost in the Lord’s work.
