Butterflies are beautiful
Because they were caterpillars.
They’re mentally conditioned to a life
Other than the one they have.
They shed their old skins
And flaunt the colours of their rebirth.
The chip-off-the-old-block
In the two-inch heels.
The pretty little princess
Playing football with the guys.
The butterfly is my favourite,
And I love each and every one.
Butterflies are beautiful
Especially because they were caterpillars,
