The name of the place,
Big Island Burrito aka BIB.
A small, local beach side restaurant,
sitting in the famous A1A.
Locals, surfboards and surf videos,
fill the small cafe.
Burritos, tacos, enchiladas and salads,
scattered on the little neon menus.
No need to pick one up though,
everyone gets “Sharon's Favorite.”
“A coca-cola, extra ice with a Sharon,”
My exact order.
It comes out in record timing,
steaming and beautiful.
A soft burrito covered in a mystery but delicious red sauce,
with a heaping pile of homemade tortilla chips.
First bite,
always the best part.
Layered;
Soft tortilla, meat, lettuce, cheese, onion, sour cream, soft tortilla,
Topped with red sauce,
and I few sprinkles of perfectly melted cheese.
So simplistic,
but so good.
A huge burrito,
that perfectly fits into my small stomach.
The feeling of so much satisfaction,
makes the rest of my day ten times better.
