Bitter-Sweet
Remembering as a child
How easy it was to fall off a swing
Than laugh it off
To make a friend on the playground
Just by mentioning your name
How life once was simple
You do what is right
Instead of what is wrong
You respect your elders
And do what you are told
When you disobey there is a punishment
A spank
A bar of soap in the mouth
Or being grounded
And as we grow up those rules are suppose to stick
You are supposed to stay respectful
Obedient and kind-hearted
Truthful and loving
But something bad can happen
Those rules can never be taught
Or easily ignored
And nothing good comes from there
