What is death?
Is it merely a passing from one world to another?
Is it to fade into oblivion?
Is it to return to the place where we once came from?
Is it to cause severe pain in the families that have lost
or is it to bring peace?
To end suffering upon those it falls upon?
Do the ones we lose look down upon us
Peering through windows in the sky
resting on the clouds,
Watching the world go by.
Does it bring forth a pair of wings?
Do they become an angel
or are they simply gone?
What is death?
Will we really ever know?
For anyone who has suffered
has yet to let us know.
