My Awakening

The soft vibrations sink into my pillow,
The light makes a blurred attempt to light,
Fuzz barley touching the air but manages to catch my tired eyes,
My lazily searching fingers run across the sleek glowing glass,
My fingers glide over the cool gleaming metal,
To me a sweet lullaby is whispered to sooth my tired mind,
My fingers retreat back to their cushy holder,
As the light fades we both sleep,
Awaiting another sweet awakening.

I wrote this poem thinking about how a phone reacts and simple things ,like electronics, in life that can be easily forgotten.
