You yell and shout
Calling names and don’t back out
You fight with words of hatred
Now you’re alone and left with dread
No one left but yourself and I
Now you say goodbye
But wait
You offer an apology
We make up and feel gladly
The fighting has stopped peacefully
Look back now on stupid arguments
Silly us, no need to grunt and shout
Those two words come out
I’m sorry
