They say that when you hope
For something so much
That it will
Come to you in the end

When ever I hope
For something so much
Destiny takes it away from me

I don’t understand how your hope
Can just be taken
Out of your life so fast
It makes you ill

When I was younger
I would talk to my daddy
Tell my daddy “I love you”
I would hope that he will be in my wedding

When we would talk about having kids
I would tell my daddy
“Dad I hope my kids will see how amazing you are”
Well that never happened

It’s not easy to have one parent
But at least I have one
And not none.
