There is a wilted flower
in a garden full of beautiful roses.
No one takes notice of this flower;
they're too busy admiring the others.
The flower could've been one of the best in the garden,
but now it is being choked by ugly weeds.
They are feeding off of it
and each day as the flower shrivels
up and shrinks to nothing,
the weeds grow and grow
until their roots are too deep to simply pull up.
