If I were a box, I would be full of fears and doubts
If I were tape, I would seal that box until the voices stopped
If I were a clock, I would turn back time 'til there was no more
If I were a fan, I would blow away the insecurities
If I were glue, I would paste back the pieces
If I were a question, I would be WHY?
If I were a sentence, I would be a run-on
If I were a bird, I would have no wings
If I were raindrop, I would hide in the clouds
If I were a direction, I would be behind
Homelessness is among us and the people hurt
They feel they have no worth
Combat homelessness before it happens to you

This poem is a in depth with the feelings of the chronically and temporarily homeless. Hopefully this poem speaks to you and allows you feel what they feel. Help! This issue has to start with individual effort first
