At the twilight of yesterday
The trees were hungry
The trees drawn gray
Waiting for the morning dew
Their starvation carried on
Feeding off each other's suffering
No where did they ever belong
Time was then and time is now
Each minute takes a year to pass
Patience is dealt out again
The trees were then but they won't last
