Sometimes the sound of rain makes me cry
And sometimes, when I think no one's watching,
I let the tears fall

Drip, drip, drip

Reflective tears
Of dreams lost in the
Tumbling place of dreams forgotten

Sometimes, when I lie ever so quietly,
I can hear my thoughts

Yet, then and only then, am I truly free
Free from the wandering, confusing, screwed up world

Listen to the heart beat of the story I tell;
As the words pour through the scraped fingertips
Painted with chipped, broken nail polish

Sometimes, when i realize no one's there,
I curl into a ball of all my
Unforgotten dreams

Because when I look for them,
They are always there
