True Self
I have a passion for music,
It has always been in my life.
I truly think that birds
Are the most amazing creatures.
My symbol,
Would be an angel or a dove,
With their majestic wings.
Ready top fly above and beyond.
I need glasses and have both
Of my parents’ eyes, brown.
I have brown wavy hair,
That goes a little past my shoulders.
I wish I had curly hair.
But instead I got the in-between.
I wish my eyes were anything but brown,
So I can stand out from my friends.
My posture is not perfect,
I can never sit up straight and still.
I wish I can learn to be a lady,
Which would mean sitting up straight.
Of course, no one can change their appearance,
So I am stuck with myself.
And I’m happy with that.
