Darkness surrounds.
It’s fills the cracks.
In between sanity,
And utter madness.
The darkness eats it up.
What is real or fake.
You hopes and dreams.
It takes it all away.
Right from under you.
Yet there is nothing you can do.
You can only sit there,
And hope for light to come.
Light does come.
Yet it comes sporadically.
Only choosing to come,
When you need it most.
But when you do need it,
Can it really help you?
