Heavenly
We were godlike for a moment
Glowing dust - salt pillars
Ask a child -, they’ll call you a hero
Ask your priest - he’ll call you a sinner
The sun sinks down to the other side’s hell
And that’s when it starts
Crooked nails asking for blood
Dreaming of bone
Beg for sleep if you want to see the morning
With real eyes
I am a demon for a moment
Just like my mother thought
Like my rival put it so bluntly
On another night - another note
All for naught
