string
Love is
like a piece
of string.
you are
in desperate need
of something
to be held
together,
so you
bind it carefully
with the yarn.
a simple
strand to hold
your emotions
together.
but as time
goes on,
the bind
that was once strong,
grows weaker.
the emotions
that it once held,
spill like pancake
batter.
then one day,
the string altogether,
snaps and
cannot be
put back together
ever again.
