Waiting to end the pain,
My head bowed down,
Weighted with shame,
All to lose and none to gain,
Can’t bring myself to come around,
Things will never be the same

Wind, blow my thoughts away,
Rain, drench me to the bone,
Sun, dry the mess that’s been made
Is it really worth the say,
Rather than just having none,
Is it like just being caged?

There are no other choices,
All other ships have docked,
The sounds of disappearing voices
Has left me still, shocked

The loud toll of the clock afar,
Train whistles blow eight to the bar,
Memorizing the lines on the floor
1, 2, 3, 4

Leave me be, leave me be,
Thoughts set me free,
Rid me of these nightmarish dreams,
The dreams of reality

Goodnight, sleep tight,
To someone out there in the world,
Safe and warm in your own bed,
Not worrying about what’s in your head

Let me be, let me be,
My nightmares of reality

How do you handle your worst nightmare - when it's not just a dream any longer?
