It decided to turn,
And scars me with a sensational burn.
It had got so hard;
I forgot to stay on guard.
You said everything would turn out best,
but why this pain inside my chest?
All I see are happy couples,
with smiles on their face.
When they glance at me,
I look down with such disgrace.
Why can I not be happy?
Even with the one I love?
Was he really sent to me,
from the one above?
Have I made the right connection,
or will it surely break?
This will be the risk,
I have to take.
