Like a Stranger
That guy
Always fun to be around
Telling jokes
Making one another feel inseparable
The feeling that someone
Thinks you are special
Some say
It doesn’t matter where you are
As long as you are together
Whether it be at the golden blistering beach
Or watching a movie on the couch
Always side by side
At times feeling forced
Like a boulder is pushing between
Later growing distant
No fireworks to be seen
As he greets
Day by day second guessing yourself
Almost like strangers
What’s going to happen
Only the heart will tell
He’s not the guy
Nobody will know...
Nobody will know why
