Each morning my alarm rings
Bright and early at 6:05 AM.
Struggling to get ready
For the long school day.
Straight to the first
Class of the day.
Seven hours of
Back to back classes.
Almost feels like
Torture some days.
Trying to keep my
Head up in each class
Striving to
Not
Fall
Asleep.
Finally, the day brings
The last class.
Waiting for the
Bell to ring.
Just as it eventually does,
Students fill the halls
With laughter and smiles
Ecstatic the school day
Is done.
Until tomorrow,
Begin the exact same thing
All over again and again.
