I'm Glad I'm not Like You

I’m glad I’m not like you
For I don’t have to know the feeling
Of laying down at night knowing
My whole grade hates me.

I’m glad I’m not like you
Because I know what it means
To have true friends.

I’m glad I’m not like you
Because I understand that happiness
Doesn’t come from bringing
Others down.

I’m glad I’m not like you
Because I have parents that can truly
Say they are proud of me.

I’m ecstatic I’m not like you.
