The sound of the battlefield
Of bbs hitting people and bunkers
All I can hear
Is yelling and shooting

Bearing the smell on the field
Of smoke bombs, the long grass and foxtails
Swishing through the wind

Only the sight of the heads
Peaking around the trees and
The guns coming out from behind walls ready to shoot

The tenseness I feel
When my muscles start to ache while crouching
The piercing pain of the bb
Ripping through my skin to release a short amount of blood

After it is all said and done
The taste of the carbonation in
A cold refreshing can of Mountain Dew
