The distance
The time zones
The wait.
I accept,
The miles
The smiles
The laughs.
I accept,
Your decisions,
And mine.
I accept,
The bonds
The songs
The connection.
I accept,
The lies
The ties
The binds.
I accept,
The fear
The tears
The reminders.
I accept,
The ach
The breaks
The heart ach.
I accept that we can’t live forever,
I accept that life may be only a number.
I accept the anchor pulling this all down under.
