The home
The place of belonging
Where my family lies
And memories are made
my little nest.
I was a bird
Who flew away from home
For reason the bird didn’t even know
Far away, out there
Lost and alone
I migrated away
Trapped in a cage
Singing my lonely tune
My stage was calling
I thought it was just echoes
It was you.
My stage
That grand old stage
Filled with birds like me
Continue singing your song
Be my lighthouse
So I can fly back
To Thee
My home
My plane of belonging.
