am i really such a radical now? if so,
times have forced me to be,
and the words i spin are inspired by
the facades of our rivals

am i some kind of liar now? because
i can't tell,
even when you smirk at the words that fall
off my lips,
they are my reality

i think you can tell
that our minds don't always
work the same,
but i promise,
i try to take the best from
everything you say
(even when i see through
your charade)
