wondering why?

I sit in the dark with a heavy heart
and try to remember what made this all start.
But it's been feelings building over time,
feelings so dark they're hard to rhyme.
All these words pound in my head,
words that keep making me wish i were dead.
why do my friends treat me this way?
when will i finally have a say?
Why do boys keep breaking my heart?
Then continue to rip it part by part.
When will any of you see me for me?
when will you realize that i too can bleed?
