I remember the day you left my eyes full of tears and heart full of worry
I remember the smell of sweat in the air
I remember your name called out
And you walked off with them in a row
I remember the bus drive off
I remember the words you said
I remember the cheer of the crowd
Even now when I see you I almost melt for what you did
I remember the dark night’s thinking of you
But I know now why you had to go
