Nestled among blinking stars and within a velvet deep blue sky she lays
She is a large pearl within the ocean of the universe.
Her ghostly glow blankets the mere beings that inhabit this earth.
I stare in awe at her mysterious and captivating beauty.
The sun is what we rise and laugh to, but the moon, she is the one that we tell our dreams and secrets to.
She is the one who can whisper to no one but the stars above.
Her silver glow across my cheek is the only evidence I have that she is listening.
