Any Last Words
To rob me would be to do me a favor.
Please, I beg:
Rob me of my loneliness,
It’s suffocating me and
I’m smothered with no one to pull me out.
Rob me of my eyes,
I can’t bear to see anymore
And too much cruelty has already made me blind.
Rob me of my insecurities,
They are murderers, cannibals,
The worst of the bunch.
They slaughter with no conscience, and need to be put down.
Please, I’m begging:
Take everything away.
