My Path

Where life begins before problems start opportunity is born
Where troubles emerge and the path turns dark sanctity is torn
Now here decisions I've made in life
Have left my path with little light
For all that's good and pure and right
Have left my path without a fight
I've Chosen wrong and now clouds form
Above my path as it starts to storm
I've strayed away from the norm, smelling not life's rose but being pricked by all its thorns
