I've Survived

The police in my driveway
the fight in the yard
believe me my life
has been way more than hard.

seen so much stuff
been through absolute hell
my childhood years
didn't go well.

the tears that i've cried
the prayers i've prayed.
all my hurting
was all but displayed.

no one knew
what i was hiding inside
no one was there
when i broke down and cried!
wanted just to run and hide
a part of me died.
