To Cry

When I was growing up I wanted to cry
Cry for those hungry,
those hurting,
those lonely,
those dying,
But I only cried for myself.
Because I didn’t understand it.

Huh. Very thought provoking. I liked it, though!

That was really good, when I was little (and still do) I always wondered why it seemed like no one helped, and wondered why its so hard to help.  Great job!

P.s.  I love the topic you seem to write about, innocence, you write it beautifully!

I really connected with this poem because people think of these things almost every day and we don't really understand why these things happen. I really liked it. It was short, sweet, and to the point
