Quiet, Quiet
Quiet is all I want
But people just can’t shut up
Why oh why for just an hour can’t people shut up?
Just one simple hour is all I ask
The calming nature of wind flowing through my hair
Listening to birds chirp and sing
Crickets singing to
The owl hoot
The hawk caw
The critters crawl
The critters fly
The sun shines brightly with no cloud in sight
But sigh, I can’t enjoy because people just won’t shut up!
