(I was reciting a poem by Rudyard Kipling)
"At Runnymede, at Runnymede
Your rights were won at Runnymede!
No freeman shall be fined or bound--"
"Meg, what is that awful sound?
I'm trying to take a math test!"
My sister cuts in and cuts off the rest
I scowl and stomp and stick out my tongue
But then since I am the older one
I lifted my feet and walked up the stairs
And pretended that I never took on airs
And wrote out my frustration here
While the fumes of my anger disappear
Now that's all over and done
And I've managed to write yet another poem
