The sight of me disgusts you,
Yet I admire you
Every chance you get, you break me,
Yet I seek your approval
You have stopped being kind to me,
But you're still my favorite
You'll never know you broke my heart
And I will never tell you
I'll never tell you that I cry, I hurt,
And I relive those painful moments
Over and over again
The absence of your love
Is a never-healing gash on my heart
But I'll contain the bleeding
With my wall of armor
I am strong enough
