"The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown." -H. P. Lovecraft

Hiding in a world of dreams
Where nothing's ever as it seems
Finally free, and free to fly
Underneath a purple sky
Lying silent in the meadow
Not a trouble, not a shadow
Peace, serenity, everlasting
With no thought that Time is passing
Straying far from what is real
No pain or hurt you'll ever feel
Dull memories, for Life is fleeting
Leave behind internal bleeding
Hurt, lies, destruction, pain
Reality is far from sane
Peace, so simple, imaginary
No promises; "Results may vary"
Drift away, but don't leave me here
Dying alone is my only fear
Absorbed in to this dark abyss
Your life, your light is all I miss
Save me from eternal dark
My tattered soul... My broken heart.

Life is a maybe. Death is for sure. Sin is the cause. Christ is the cure. :)

Love is the breath of God, and prayer is the melody that makes it sing.

If you cant annoy someone, there's no point in writing.

Love is overrated, marry for money.

Another amazing poem! Wow! You're doing a great job with your writing! I really love the last two lines. Your poems always get me at the ends. I keep looking for something to critique, and give advise on, but I can't seem to find anything! Great job! :)
