Words

I don't know why I do it
I always pick words
That can hurt the most
Cut the deepest
I never stop until you're
One tear from good-bye
Then I try to make it alright
Make it like it never happened
Like I'm not that bad
It can't be cured
And never will be
Now I know
Sticks and stones can brake bones
But words can shatter a soul

This is absolutely breath-taking... I know what you mean by 'words can shatter souls' it's so true even though people try to act like it's not.

Keep writing :)
