He was standing there
In the middle of the street
Soaking wet
The rain pouring on him
He didn’t have an umbrella
But his hands full of roses
I watched from my window
And thought how lucky she was
To him stand there
Outside her door
Wet and cold
But anxiously waiting
Waiting for her to come out
And be with him
And maybe he dreamt of her lying next to him
Enjoying each others presences
Not talking buy just enjoying
Being together
Because the world wouldn’t matter
Their worlds would be each other eyes
And their happiness would reflect on their smiles
And their love would be on each word
They would say to each other
And I guess I stared real hard
Because he turned around
And he stared at me
And I was ashamed and afraid
He caught me looking at him
So I went to hide
When he yelled HI!
And came to my window
I thought he would be angry
I thought he was going asked me why I stared
Or about her
But I was surprised when he,
Smiled and said
I thought you lived on the house over there
