The screaming in the middle of the night wakes me from my dreams. 
They love each other so dearly but can they really see what their yelling is doing to me. 
I feel torn and sad
Left in the smoggy after math and in the pile of crap. 
I feel torn down and yet all I want is an answer on the way they act. 
I am never told maybe because you think I can't take the pain. 
That I can't take the anxiety. 
The harsh words that they call out with the almost deafening sound of door slams. 
All I want to do is cry but sometimes I feel like as if my tears just make things worse in the matter. 
But the river flows through the stream until the flow has stopped. 
And the matter has ceased after they go from a fiery heat of anger into a cool ice cube of love.
