I was screaming for help for so long
Little did i know you heard me all along
You just chose to ignore my cry
And chose to watch me slowly die.

I wasnt ever crying for attention from you
I kept screaming for your help
But no matter how many tears i shed
How many times my broken heart had to mend
You chose to ignore my cries
You watched me die inside
And instead watched me slowly fade away.

All i wanted was someone to hold me
To tell me everything would be okay
But everyone ignored that shadow in the corner
That shadow was me
So now i slowly fade away.
